Cheshire Local Nature Partnership – joining up nature recovery actions
The Cheshire Local Nature Partnership (LNP) has launched a new website setting out its vision for nature recovery and outlining opportunities to get involved.
Local Nature Partnerships (LNPs) bring together local organisations, businesses and people who want to improve their local natural environment.
As one of the Cheshire LNP partners, we’re excited to see this next step in the work of the partnership. Whilst individual environmental organisations are already doing great work across Cheshire, we can achieve so much more by co-ordinated action.
On top of working together to provide knowledge and support for the natural environment, the LNP acts as a channel between what’s happening on the ground and central government.
Overall aims have already been identified, and a Local Nature Recovery Strategy is under development.
